Think big as this is going to be something that most of your friends and family will remember for most of their lives. Do you have a special place that you and or your fiancé visited in the past and always loved? Beaches, Farms, Gardens, Lake Houses are all examples of a special place you might want to consider. Thinking big doesn't always mean it has to be the most expensive. You or your fiancé might even have a special place you didn't even think about. Grandpa's farm for instance? Aunt Beth's summer home on the beach? Use your wedding party to help brainstorm multiple ideas, something that will imprint a wonderful memory for all involved.
If your planning a destination wedding make it as easy as possible for the two of you. Try not to let your families sway your decision too much, remember this is your day not theirs. Most couples will have help from their families so you will need to let them have some say but not all!! Destination weddings can be difficult to plan out since your probably not at this destination too often. Remember use the internet to help you plan this out.
